Hot Springs Discovery Tour 

This exclusive tour takes you to the heart of Talaroo – the ancient and breathtaking Hot Springs.  Join one of our expert tour guides to learn about this unique geological wonder, Talaroo’s fascinating history and the connection Ewamian people have had with their country for thousands of years into the present day.

 

The Talaroo Hot Springs Tour starts at the reception with a guided walk to the Springs.  There you’ll take to our new elevated boardwalk for incredible views of the vents and terraces as your guides shares the secrets and history of the Springs and Talaroo.  As the tour concludes you’ll have the opportunity to soak or dip your feet in the healing waters of the Springs in the original soaking Pool, before returning to the reception.

 

COST: 

  • Adult $40

  • Child 5-15 $20

  • Family (2A+2C) $110

  • Infant 0-5 FOC

 

DURATION:        

  • 1.5 hours including bathing pool

 

DEPARTURES:     

  • Tours usually depart at 8am, 10am and 4pm daily but times may alter seasonally to make the most of conditions.  For the exact tour times during your stay check our live availability calendar.

 

MEET:              

  • Meet at the reception 5 minutes prior to your tour departure time

 

PERSONS:          

  • Maximum 18 persons per tour.  No minimum numbers.

 

INCLUSIONS:       

  • Interpretive tour guide 

  • Hot Springs Boardwalk

  • Pre-soak shower

  • Soak in the Pool

 

WHAT TO BRING OR WEAR:​

  • Water bottle

  • Comfortable walking shoes

  • Hat

  • Binoculars

  • Towel & swimmers*

*We recommend wearing your swimmers under your clothes before you set off to maximise your bathing time

 

FITNESS & RESTRICTIONS:

  • The Hot Springs Discovery tour is suitable for all ages and abilities.  The boardwalk is stroller and wheelchair friendly, although towards the end there is a stepped section so wheelchair users will need to circulate back along the boardwalk and rejoin the group on ground level.

  • Guests in wheelchairs or with limited mobility will be provided with transport from the reception to the Boardwalk – please advise your requirement when booking.

  • Bathing is not recommended during pregnancy

  • Guests with medical conditions or undergoing treatment should seek medical advice before entering our bathing pool
